Summer Lovin'

These last two terms have been kicking me so I have not had a chance to document our life in way too long! Colby has finished up (for the most part) his summer semester so he is just working right now- which has been very nice! I started my summer term three weeks ago and am doing clinicals three days a week at a pediatricians office. I am learning a ton but feel like I have SOOOO much more to learn and I just don't see how I am going to learn it in less than a year! Even though we have been focusing a lot on school this summer- we have tried to have some fun in our little free time..........
For the 4th of July we stayed in Cedar since I worked the night before- so, for the first time, we went to the parade here! The Griffins were kind enough to let us join them.

Hayden and Lainey

Hayden has been going through a "hold you" stage! She constantly wants to be held....I try to blame it on her dad but I think it's the result of 3 teeth popping simultaneously!

Yesterday, we embarked on the annual "Bliss Campout." Not all the Blisses were able to make it; but we still had fun! It was short and sweet- we left yesterday after I got done with clinicals and got back this afternoon. We went over to Upper Box Creek- I had never been there!

Fishing and getting a lecture from dad about being quiet while fishing.......yeah right!! haha

Throwing rocks is funner anyways.

Nikki caught the first catch of the day. Ronnie and Colby took over Brody's pole and caught several of these tiny fish (& released them right away)!

Brody caught the biggest fish of the day- it was 13 inches long and I don't know how much it weighed.

Oh my gosh look at that filthy bum!!!

We lost a shoe on our way to the campground- luckily Chelise was able to find a shoe of Brody's in the truck that was the right foot- so we improvised!
Who cares? We were camping!

A group pic!

So much fun....but homework calls.....:-(
