We welcomed two new nieces into the family.....
First we have little miss Aria Marie Bliss- Karlee and Tyson's gorgeous new girl. She was born March 26th.
Then we have tiny Brailynn Jennie Moody- Brock and Dani's new little ray of sunshine! She was born April 2nd.
Millie and I went up to Delta the Saturday before Easter to see these two precious girls and got to hang out at Grandma and Grandpa Bliss's for a little while. According to my child, grandma and grandpa are both Papa.
Easter Sunday presented itself with a moody little toddler and it took her a while to warm up to her Easter basket and all its goodies!
This last Saturday we decided instead of doing a birthday party, we would go up to the zoo and anybody that wanted to or was able to was welcome to join us! Grandma Cyn, Grandpa Rick, Grandma Nikki, Grandpa Russ, Aunt Chelise, Uncle Ronnie, Brody, Maddy, Dax, and Hadley all came up for a fun-filled day! It was a little brisk and cloudy but the crowds were sparse. We had just finished riding the train and finishing up the last little bit of the park when it started raining- then as we were all walking to the car it started hailing! Perfect timing! This kid had a ball despite being super tired cause she was up at 6:30 am (ouch) and she didn't get a nap!
She had to try out several animals and she did not want to get off the carousel when the ride was over!
We thought she would be a little scared of this slide cause it was quite tall but she could have went down it a hundred times.
Seeing the 'e-fant' (elephant).
This gorilla was cute all snuggled up under a sheet just looking at everyone!
Spring is in the air!! This peacock was trying to hard to impress his lady friend!
My child wanted so bad to get in the pen with the giraffes! And this little ape and her became good friends for a minute! She also loved seeing the 'kickens' (chickens) running around which she would yell doodle-doodle-doo too! (Sometimes she'll say cock-cock-doodle-doodle-doo- but that's kinda a mouth full for her and she won't shorten it to cock-a-doodle-doo)
Fun on the Rhino!
It was so cute seeing Brody and Hayden holding hands!
No sleep finally caught up with her and she slept through most of lunch! She never sleeps on me like this so I soaked it up! Loved every minute of the snuggling!
Sunday afternoon smelling 'fowers' (dandelions).
Monday was her BIRTHDAY!! I can't believe she is TWO!!! We started it off with heat-shaped-funfetti-pancakes!
Since I couldn't exactly wrap this present, she got to start playing on this one bright and early! She went forward, backwards, on her stomach and every other way she could find- at least a hundred times each!
But she had to take a break to watch Curious George on my phone!
Then, once daddy got home, it was present time!! She loved everything that she got- she certainly was spoiled!
It didn't take much to show this kid how to blow out candles! She was ready! Instead of a birthday cake, we did birthday brownies (those have a higher probability of getting eaten at our house). The chocolate drizzle was supposed to say happy b-day- drizzle is hard!! Ha ha
She can have her cake and eat it too.....or brownies....whatever!
Fun photos we just don't have room for!!
