The 4th of July this year was a long one! I had to work the night before so I got home at about 730 in the morning and we hurried up to join in the Delta festivities. Millie was having nothing to do with pictures so at least Brooky was okay with giving me a smile!
However, a horse ride will always make her feel better!
After a few of the family get-togethers, a few of us headed out to the Rez and the weather was perfect! We didn't get out there until about 6:30 so it was cooler and the kids had fun!
I love this picture because she came out of the water and told me she had to go pee. Crystal and I told her to just go in the water (come on, you guys know that is the least of your worries out at the Rez) haha! I know- "Mom-of-the-year" goes to me! But this was the look she gave us..........it's like..........."what are you telling me to do?"
Later that night, Tyson and Karlee were gracious enough to brave letting most of the Bliss' come to their house to watch the fireworks! They live in the perfect location to see them!
Last week, Grandma Nikki was able to some spend a few nights with us because she had classes in Cedar she had to be too Monday thru Friday. So, we all went out for Family Home Evening and saw Monsters University. It was pretty cute!
On Wednesday night she got to spend some quality time with Grandma while Colby and I were at work. I think she got a tad bit spoiled! That's what grandma's are for, right?
While Colby was at work on Saturday, we FINALLY ventured up to the pond on the hill here in Cedar. We had fun.......and we both got burnt! Oops.
We spotted some ducks swimming so I told her to hold really still and be really quiet and the ducks might come close and they DID!! She thought it was great!!
